Piriton (Chlorpheniramine 4mg)

Antihistamine for relief of allergic rhinitis, urticaria, and other allergic reactions.

Adults: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours. Maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours. Children 6-12 years: half a tablet every 4-6 hours. Indicated for hay fever, allergic rhinitis, urticaria (hives), insect bites, food allergy symptoms, and drug allergies.

Active: Chlorpheniramine maleate 4mg per tablet. Inactive: Lactose, maize starch, magnesium stearate, pregelatinised starch.

May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol. Not recommended for children under 6 years without medical advice. Use with caution in glaucoma, urinary retention, prostatic hypertrophy, and epilepsy. Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
