Dissolve 1 sachet in 1 litre (or 200ml as directed on pack) of clean drinking water. Sip frequently in small amounts. Adults: drink as much as needed. Children: offer small sips every 1-2 minutes. Prepare a fresh solution every 24 hours.
Active per sachet: Sodium Chloride 2.6g, Glucose Anhydrous 13.5g, Potassium Chloride 1.5g, Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate 2.9g. When dissolved provides: Sodium 75mmol/L, Chloride 65mmol/L, Glucose 75mmol/L, Potassium 20mmol/L.
Do not add sugar or salt to the prepared solution. Use clean, boiled (and cooled) water. Seek medical attention if diarrhoea persists beyond 24 hours, if there is blood in stool, or if the patient shows signs of severe dehydration. Not a substitute for medical treatment in severe cases.
